"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
2 (3.5oz) packages instant French vanilla pudding 3 c milk 1 (8oz) cool whip 1 (16oz) package of graham crackers
Frosting: 1/4 c milk 1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder 1 c sugar 2 Tbsp butter 1 tsp vanilla
In medium bowl, combine pudding and milk. Add cool whip. Arrange a single layer of graham crackers in cake pan and then top with half the pudding mixture. Arrange another layer of graham crackers on top of the pudding mixture and then top with the rest of the pudding mixture. Arrange a third layer of graham crackers on top.
Combine all frosting ingredients but the butter and vanilla in a sauce pan. Boil for one minute then remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Mix well and pour over graham crackers.
If you're in a hurry you can use store-bought frosting but it just isn't the same. If you really like chocolate, double the frosting recipe.
