1/2# bag frozen hash brown potatoes 2 c sour cream 1/2 c chopped yellow onion 1 can cream of chicken soup 2 c grated cheddar cheese
For topping: 1/2 c butter 1 c corn flakes
Break up potatoes and sprinkle with salt. Mix all other ingredients and pour over potatoes, mixing well. Put in cake pan and then melt butter and mix with crushed corn flakes. Sprinkle this mixture on top of potates. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350. Bake another 15 minutes covered.
