1 c water
1/2 c butter (1 stick)
1 c flour
4 eggs

Pudding for Cream Puffs:
1/3 c sugar
2 T cornstarch
1/8 tsp salt
2 c milk
2 egg yolks (slightly beaten)
2 T softened margarine
2 tsp vanilla
Mix all. Cook over medium heat; will thicken when cooled.

Chocolate Icing:
1 T margarine
1 tsp cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 T milk
Powdered sugar - enough for consistency

Heat oven to 400 heat water and butter to a rolling boil. Stir in flour, stir vigorously over low heat about 1 minute or until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs (all at one time). Continue beating until smooth. Drop dough by scant 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto UN-greased baking sheet. Bake 35-40 min or until puffed and golden. Cool away from draft. Cut off tops and carefully fill puffs with vanilla cream pudding. Replace top, dust with powdered sugar. Refrigerate until serving. Makes 12.
