2 C, Raw Cranberries
1 lg thin skinned Orange
1 lg Red Delicious Apple
1 C. Chepped celery chopped very fine
1 small pkg Strawberry, Cherry or favorite red jello
1 1/2 C Boiling Water
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. chpped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Grind fruit, with peels left on. add nuts, celery, and sugar mix well. Set aside.
In large bowl add boiling water and jello. Stirring well till dessolved. Put in fridge until consistancy of unbeaten egg white. Add jello to cranberry m ixture still well then chill until firm.

Ok This is a great and old salad. However I double the fruit and use 1 1/2 - 2 pks cranberries omit the celery and nuts and sometimes add a little more sugar, about 1/4 to 1/3 C more sugar.

Grandma used to make this but I couldn't find the recipe she used. This was given to me by my mother in law. I believe it was her mother's recipe. Exactly like Grandma use to make.
