1 thick rd steak, roast,or stew meat cut into cubes
enough oil to cover bottom of pan for browning meat and enough to thicken with flour for a gravy sauce
1 large onion diced
4 -6 potatoes cut into cubes
1 bag carrots ( I use baby carrots already cut)
6 - 10 beef boulion cubes

Directions:
flour and brown steak in deep pan for soups. add flour for thickening as for gravy. add potatoes, carrots, onions filling with water. Add boulion to taste. simmer on low stirring very often. The sauce should be thick like a gravy and will stick to bottom of pan.

Amounts really depend on how large of pot you wish to make. Add more for larger crowds or smaller amounts for less. This is great served over white rice or plain in bowl. Great dish for winter. Warms you from the inside out.
