1 1/2 C. Sugar
6 T. corn starch
1 1/2 C. Water
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
1 grated lime rind
4 - 6 T. Lime juice
Few drops green food coloring
3 egg whites
6 T. Sugar 1/4 cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and corn starch with water in a saucepan. Bring to boiling over medium heat stirring constantly. Continue cooking till mixutre is thick and clear. Remove from heat add egg yolks one at a time stirring quickly to blend in. Add the lime rind and juice. Tint with food color to desired shade of green. Beat eggs whites until stiff peaks form and cream of tarter and 6 T. sugar. Top pie with meringe and brown evenly.
