1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, drained
1/2 c. tahini (roasted sesame seed paste)
1 T. cumin
1/4 olive oil
4-6 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. freshly ground pepper
Juice of one lemon
1/4-1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients, except water, in food processor. Pulse 5-10 times to combine all ingredients. With food processor running, add water slowly until desired consistency is reached.

Can add any of the following to personal taste-roasted garlic, olives, ancho chili powder, cayenne pepper, roasted red peppers. Great with crackers or vegetables or you can spread on sandwiches.
