1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained
1 t. olive oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 c. diced tomato
1/3 c. mild picante sauce
1/2 t. ground cumin
1/2 t. chili powder
1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c. chopped fresh cilantro
1 T. freshly squeezed lime juice

Directions:
Directions:
Place beans in bow and mash until chunky. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until translucent, about 4 minutes. Add beans, tomatoes, picante sauce, cumin and chili powder; cook 5 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add cheese, cilantro and lime juice, stirring well. Serve warm or at room temperature with tortilla chips.
