1 lg Cabbage, shredded
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 Green Pepper, finely chopped
1 T Salt
1 C Boiling Water
1 C Sugar
1 C White Vinegar
1/2 C Oil
1 T Celery Seed
1 T Mustard Seed
1 Jar Pimento's (2 oz), finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cabbage, onion & green pepper in large bowl. Sprinkle salt over top and pour boiling water over all. Let stand at room temp for 1 hour. Drain in colander. Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and celery seed, mustard seed and pimento's. Add to cabbage, stir and cover. Refrigerate.

I did not use the pimento's and it was still very tasty ~ the option is yours!
