3/4 c. Wesson oil
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1 1/2 tsp. cocoa
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 oz. red food coloring
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. soda

8 oz. Phili cream cheese
1 cube butter
1 lb. powder sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream the oil, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, cocoa, and salt. Add sifted ingredients alternately with the buttermilk, vanilla and food coloring . Add to the creamed mixture. Beat well and fold in baking soda and vinegar in mixture. Pour into 3--9"layer pans. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 min.

Mix all frosting ingredients together and frost cake
when cool.
