1 ½ cups cooked or canned pumpkin
¾ cup sugar
½ tsp salt
½ -1 tsp ginger
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
1 ¼ tsp cinnamon
3 slightly beaten eggs
1 6oz can evaporated milk
1 cup milk
½ recipe plain pastry

Directions:
Directions:
Combine pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices; blend. Add eggs and milk. Mix thoroughly. Pour into 10 inch pastry lined pie pan. Bake in hot oven (450) for 10 minutes; then in moderate oven (325) about 50 minutes, or until mixture doesn’t adhere to a knife.
