1/2c. shortening
1/2c. sugar
1/4c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1c. flour
1/2tsp. baking soda
1/2tsp. salt
1/2pacake chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat in the shortening and the sugars. Add the eggs and the vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Then add the flour, baking soda, and the salt. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
