1/2c. finely chopped almonds
1/2c. sugar
1tsp. almond extract
2 1/4c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Spread chopped almonds in a cake pan and brown in 300 oven. Cool. Cream butter, sugar and extract. Work in flour to make a stiff dough. Mix in almonds. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and roll to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 2 inch rounds. Bake in a 350 oven until set, about 20 minutes.
