French Apple Pie Recipe

*Streusel Topping
1/2 cup original Bisquick
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp firm margarine or butter

* Filling
3 large all-purpose apples (3cups)
(Peeled and thinly sliced)
1/2 cup original Bisquick
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp margarine or butter, softened
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
2 eggs

Heat oven to 350. Grease pie plate, 9x1 1/4 inches. Make Streusel Topping; set aside. Spread apples in pie plate.
In separate bowl, stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour over apples. Sprinkle with topping.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or untile knife inserts in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes.
