2 10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, chopped
1 1/2 14 1/2 oz. can chicken broth
1 c. chopped onions
2 lg. cloves garlic
4 T. butter
3 tsp. flour
3 c. cream

Directions:
Directions:
Put spinach in pot. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 5 minutes until spinach is thawed and tender.

In a skillet, saute onion and garlic in butter till tender, not browned. Stir in flour until smooth. Add 1 c. cream and cook until mixture is well blended. Stir onion mixture into spinach and broth. Blend in remaining cream and heat just to simmer.

Soup may be put in blender if a smoother consistency is desired.
