1/2c. softened shortening
1c. brown sugar
1c. evaporated milk
1/2c. white sugar
2 eggs
1tsp. vanilla
1tsp. salt
2 3/4c. sifted flour
1/2tsp. baking soda
1c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugars and eggs. Stir in the milk and vanilla. Sift flour, soda, and salt. Stir in. Blend in nuts and chill one hour. Heat oven to 375. Drop on a greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes until lightly browned. While warm frost with burnt butter glaze and garnish with walnut halves.
