1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 can cream style corn
1 lb lean ground beef
1 med onion chopped
1 lb cheddar cheese grated
chopped jalapeņos to taste

Combine Jiffy cornbread mix, milk, beaten eggs, butter, cream style corn salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside. Saute onions and jalapeņos in a little butter. Brown ground beef (drain) add onions and jalapeņos.
Pour half of corn meal batter into well greased baking dish dusted with cornmeal. Sprinkle grated cheese over batter, sprinkle ground beef over cheese top with remaining cornmeal batter.
Bake @ 350 degrees about 50 min.
Let stand before serving
