2 T brown sugar
1 T prepared mustard
1/2 tsp pepper
1-1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup chopped onions

Directions:
Blend all ingredients together in a sauce pan and simmer for 10 - 20 minutes.

Baste chicken as you barbecue. The sauce tends to burn so you might want to wait to the end to baste with it.

Personal Notes:
Grandma gave me this recipe when I was in college - she was shocked I wanted it because it was "nothing special".
