Brown Sugar
Shortening
Egg
Sour Milk
Cocoa
Flour
Baking Powder
Salt
Directions:

Cream:
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs

Mix in:
1 c. sour milk
1/2 c. cocoa

Sift together and add to mixture:
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix well. Nuts and vanilla may be added and the cookies may be iced.

Oven temp, how long? You know!
