3 1/2 c. sifted flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
4 eggs beaten
2 c. mashed bananas (6)
2/3 c shortening
1 c nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour and mix alternately with cream mixture. Add bananas and mix until smooth. Add nuts (opt) Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour 10 minutes
