5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
2 Tlbs. Butter
6 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
3/4 C. Basil Pesto
1 large Onion, sliced & carmelized
1 pkg. Puff Pastry Sheets, thawed
1 Egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken in butter until almost cooked. Place in a bowl and add carmelized onions, pesto and cream cheese; mix well.
Roll out pastry sheet on lightly floured surface to 12" square. Cut each into three 4"x12" rectangles. divide chicken mixture among the 6 rectangles, leaving one half of the rectangle free. Fold free half over chicken filling to form 4"x6" squares; press with fork to seal edges. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and brush with beaten egg.
Bake at 400 for 20-30 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove to wire rack and let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
