"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz package cream cheese
1 envelope Italian dressing mix
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup (either one works)

Optional: a cup or two of broccoli

Directions:
Put all ingredients in the crock pot. Cook on low for about 4 hours. I usually check on it once or twice to stir it up and add a little water if the sauce seems too thick.

Serve on rice or mashed potatoes (my personal favorite), or add some broccoli to the mix about an hour before serving, and this makes a great pasta dish.
