3/4 cups shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups flour
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugar, egg and molasses. Stir in remaining ingredients. Roll in small balls. Roll balls in sugar. Bake at 350F for 10 - 12 minutes.
