3 6 1/2 oz. cans chopped or minced clams
1/8 c. butter or margarine
1/8 c. olive oil or use garlic oil in refrigerator
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. fresh parsley
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. linguine cooked and drained
grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 lb. mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Drain clams reserving liquid and set aside. Heat butter and oil in 2 qt. saucepan over medium heat until butter melts, about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute 3 minutes. Stir in parsley, oregano, basil, pepper and clam juice. Cook over high heat 1 minute or until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Add clams and cook over medium heat about 3 minutes or until hot. Serve hot linguine and sprinkle with grated cheese.
