4 c. milk
1 stick cinnamon
1 small piece lemon peel
1 c. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1-4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. rice
cinnamon powder
1-1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice by bringing to boil the 1-1/2 c. water, cinnamon stick and lemon peel. Add rice and cook over low heat until grains are soft. Add milk, salt, vanilla and sugar. Cook over medium heat for over 1 hour or until thick. Stir periodically to prevent sticking. Pour into serving cups. Refrigerate and sprinkle cinnamon powder on top before serving.
