1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. coconut

Topping:
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and baking soda together. Mix oil and sugar together and add eggs, 1 at a time, and alternate with flour until mixed. Blend in vanilla. Fold coconut and pecans into batter. Pour into floured and greased 9" x 13" pan or oven proof dish and bake at 325 for approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Topping:
Bring all ingredients to a boil and pour over hot cake. Let stand until cool before serving.
