1/2 Lb. Italian Sweet Sausage, sliced & quartered
1 Tablespoon Olive or Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Diced Onion
1 Garlic Clove - Finely Minced
1 Cup Sliced Carrots
1 Teaspoon Basil
2 Small Zucchini - Sliced
16 oz. Tomatoes - Diced and Undrained
2 (10 3/4 oz.) Cans Beef Broth
2 Cups Finely Shredded Cabbage
Salt & Pepper to Taste
16 Oz. Can Great Northern Beans - Undrained

Directions:
Directions:
Brown Sausage in Oil. Add onion, garlic, carrots and basil - Cook 5 minutes. Add zucchini, tomatoes, broth, cabbage, salt & pepper. Bring to boil; reduce heat, simmer covered for 1 hour. Add beans with liquid and cook 20 minutes.
This is better the second day.
