c. Dark Karo Syrup
2/3 c. Butter, melted
1 c. Brown Sugar, packed
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
4 c. Oatmeal
Peanut Butter Topping:
1 6 oz. pkg. Chocolate Chips
c. Peanut Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Syrup, Butter, and Brown Sugar in large bowl, using wooden spoon. Add Vanilla and Oatmeal. Mix together, using fingers. (mixture will be firm). Press mixture into buttered 9x13 baking pan and bake at 350 for 15 minutes (do not overbake!) Cool only slightly. Topping: Place together in saucepan over very low heat or double boiler. Stir until melted. Spread peanut butter topping onto bars. Cut into 18 pieces. Chill until set. (Do Not bake too long they will harden quickly).
