1 18 ounce package Oreo chocolate Sandwich cookies finely crushed.
You use 3 cups with the truffles; set aside remainder for the topping.
8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese softened
2 8-ounce packages semi-sweet baking chocolate melted.

Directions:
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
Mix 3 cups of the crushed Oreos and cream cheese until well blended.
Shape into one inch balls, about 42
Dip balls into melted chocolate; place on baking sheet.
Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.

NOTE: My mind wanders a bit but I can't help but think you can do this with any sandwich cookie. How about lemon cookies with white chocolate? Nutter Butters with semi-sweet chocolate topped with chopped peanuts? Vanilla sandwich cookies with dark chocolate? Mint Oreos with mint chocolate and candy cane sprinkles?

This is the only reciped I liked in the 2009 Costco cookbook.
