1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
dash salt

5 cup tart apples-sliced
2 TB tapioca
1/2 cup sugar,
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Add to shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients together until crumbly and press all but 1/2 cup of crumbs against bottom & 3/4 way up sides of 9' spring form pan. Sides will be thin layer.

Mix: 5 cup tart apples-sliced, 2 TB tapioca, 1/2 cup sugar, 3/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Add to shell

Bake for 20 minutes at 400-425 degree. Then top with remaining crumbs and bake until brown - approximately 20 more minutes
