Cookie crust-2-1/2 cups flour,1 cup butter not melted,1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt

4 eggs
1-1/2 cups karo light corn syrup
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 tbsp. butter(melted), 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla 2-1/2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Make cookie crust by beating butter, sugar, flour and salt together.until mixture resembles fine crumbs. press firmly into 15x10 inch pan. Bake 20-30 min. or until light golden brown@350

In large bowl, mix eggs, corn syrup,sugar butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Immediately pour over hot crust, spread evenly. Bake 25 minutes until filling is firm around edges and slightly firm in middle. Cool and cut into bars.
