l large can crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
2 envelopes clear gelatin
8 tbsp cold water
(1) 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 medium jar red cherries
1 cup mayonnaise
3 diced bananas
1 pt. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Heat crushed pineapple mixed with 1 cup of sugar. Soak 2 envelopes of gelatin in 8 tbsp. cold water, mix and add to pineapple mix. Drain cherry juice in cream cheese, and mix in one cup mayonnaise. Add sliced bananas. Cut cherries and fold in 1 pint of sour cream. Pour in 9 X 13 dish to freeze. (you may want to put in trays in freezer.)

This is another one of my old dishes, and is very pretty served at Christmas, as well as delicious. Salad may be eaten just as refrigerated.
