2tbsp. oil
1 large onion, sliced
1 pound each pork and beef
1c. mashed potatoes
1tsp. salt
1/4tsp. pepper
pastry for double crust pie
1 egg, lightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet heat oil over medium heat. Saute onions until tender. Remove and set aside. Brown beef and pork together. Drain. Combine onion, meat, potatoes and seasonings. Line a pie plate with the pastry and fill with the mixture. Top with crust and seal. Flute the edges and make slits on top of the crust. Brush with the egg and bake for 30-35 minutes in a 375 oven.
