2c. tomatoes 1 red and green pepper 1 medium onion 2 stalks of celery 1tsp. dried basil pinch of salt and pepper
Peel and chop onion peppers and celery. Put 1 tbsp. oil in a skillet and add raw veggies. Cook until transparent but not browned. Then put tomatoes in a separate pot and bring to a simmer. Add fried veggies, salt, pepper and basil. Cook till well done. Use this sauce on mashed potatoes or over meats.
