Ingredients:
Ingredients:
about 1lb ground beef or ground turkey-----
onion (however much you like, I add about 1/2 to 1cup)-----
Salt, pepper & garlic (fresh or powder)-----
can of peas, carrots, corn-----
can of cream of mushroom (optional)-----
top with mashed potatos (made with flakes is fine or homemade)-----
Sprinkle Cheddar Cheese on top (we like seriously sharp)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350*------
Cook ground meat as usual with onions until done. Add salt, pepper, garlic, peas, carrots, corn, cream of mushroom.------
Add this to your baking dish-----
Top with mashed potatos & sprinkle cheese on top (we like a lot of cheese on top)
Bake until warmed through & cheese is melted. Also you can broil for just a minute or two to get the cheese to really bubble and brown for a pretty presentation.

Personal Notes:
I think this would feed about 6 people & it is a family favorite dinner. You can modify to fit your families favorite veggies and flavors. If your kids don't like peas but love carrots just omit the peas & add extra carrots, or whatever. You can also change up the flavors to try something new. Like a BBQ shepards pie, fall flavors, etc.
