Cored and rinsed fresh tomatoes
Juice strainer
Quart jar containers with lids and seals
Sugar and Salt mix

Directions:
Directions:
Quarter and core fresh tomatoes that have been rinsed well. Boil for 2 minutes on stove. Strain and measure juice. (use a regular juice strainer with a masher.) Add 1 tsp. sugar and salt mix** per cup juice. Bring to a boil and pour into jars along with lids and seals, that are in boiling water. Once putting lids on very tight, turn jars upside down to cool. Let cool well before putting jars up, to make sure all jars are sealed properly.

**Sugar and salt mix:

2 tsp. of sugar to 1 tsp. of salt.
