1 lb. dates
2 containers candied cherries
1 lb. walnuts
1 c. sugar
4 beaten egg yolks
1 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
4 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dates, cherries, walnuts and sugar. Add the beaten egg yolks.
Mix together dry ingredients and add to above mixture.
Add the vanilla.
Beat the four egg whites until stiff and add to mixture.
Bake at 300 in slow oven.
