1 pound ground beef
1 cup (4 oz) uncooked elbow macaroni
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 cups hot water
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in large skillet; pour off drippings. Add macaroni, onions, salt, chili powder, sugar and pepper. Stir 2 1/2 cups hot water. cover and cook 10 minutes. Combine tomato paste and 1/4 cup water. Add to meat mixture and continue cooking 10 minutes.
