1 package refrigerated biscuits
6-8 sausage links
6 T. combined butter and sausage drippings
3 c. milk
6 T. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Cook refrigerated biscuits according to package instructions. Meanwhile, cook sausage according to package directions. Let cool. Reserve any drippings and add enough melted butter to equal 6 T. Add flour to 1-1/2 c.of the milk and mix well (a Tupperware© shaker works very well for this.) Stir into the butter/sausage drippings. Add in the remaining 1-1/2 c. milk Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until thickened and bubbly. Finely chop the cooled sausage with a food processor and add to the gravy. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over prepared biscuits.

If your sausage links have a casing, remove the casing prior to chopping in the food processor. Besides pepper and table salt, I like to add some seasoning salt for a little extra zesty seasoning.
