Baked Custard


C Sugar
t Salt
1 t Vanilla
3 Eggs, slightly beaten
2 C Milk
Nutmeg or Cinnamon


1. Heat oven to 350F.
2. In large bowl blend together first four ingredients. Gradually stir in milk.
3. Pour into six 6-ounce custard cups.
4. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
5. Place on 13 X 9-inch pan with about 1-inch of hot water.
6. Bake at 350F for about 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
7. Serve warm or chilled. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 6 servings.
