1 small can water chestnuts bacon 1 c. sugar 1 c. ketchup soy sauce
Soak water chestnuts in soy sauce 30 min. Wrap each water chestnut in 1/2 strip of bacon and fasten with toothpick. Put in a jelly roll pan and bake 325º to 350º until bacon is done. Place water chestnuts in crock pot. Mix sugar and ketchup together and pour over water chestnuts.
You can use any type of sauce to pour over chestnuts. This recipe is delicious!
