1/4 cup butter or margarine
pound marshmallow (about 2 dozen large marshmallows)
teaspoon vanilla
1 package Rice Krispies (6 cups) or about (5 ounces)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook butter and marshmallows over hot water until thick and syrup.
Add vanilla and beat thoroughly.
Put Rice Krispies in large buttered bowl and pour on Marshmallow mixture, stirring briskly.
Press into shallow buttered pan. Cut into square.
