c. butter
c. brown sugar
1 c. mashed banana (two bananas)
tsp. vanilla
1- c. flour
c. wheat germ or rolled oats (or oatmeal)
tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except chips and nuts until no longer lumpy.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan (if a single recipe, I prefer to only spread them in of the pan, if this recipe is doubled, it is a perfect amount to fill the entire 9 x 13 pan)
Bake 18 20 minutes at 350 degrees
