1 pkg bacon, cut into small pieces
8-10 med potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
2 c grated cheddar cheese
chopped onion
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon in the bottom of your soup pan until crisp. Drain bacon and set it aside for late. Cook potatoes and onion in enough water to cover them in the pan the bacon was cooked in. When potatoes are tender add thickening. Thickening: 1/2 cup flour and 1 cup cold water. Mix well until there are no lumps. Add slowly to the potatoes while stirring. Then add bacon and cheese. Serve when cheese is melted.
