1/2 c shortening
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
1 c sifted all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
6 oz pkg chocolate chips
1/2 cup broken nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together and lightly fluff all ingredients except the chocolate chips and nuts. Then add chocolate chips and nuts. Bake 10 minutes at 375.
