1 cup margarine
1 pd or 2 1/4 cups brown sugar
dash salt
1 cup light corn syrup
1 15 oz can of condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and add sugar and salt. Stir in corn syrup. Mix well. Gradually add milk, stiring constantly. Cook over medium heat, stiring constantly, until 250 on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add vanilla. Pour into a buttered 9" x 9" pan.
