3/4 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Grease 15"X10" pan. Melt shortening in microwave. Cool 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except 2 T. sugar. Press into pan. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake 375 for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut into bars. Cool.
