Bar:
1 cup sugar
1 cup white karo
1 1/2 cups crunchy peanut butter
5 cups Special K cereal

Topping:
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
4 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar - sifted
pinch of salt

Bar:
Bring the sugar and syrup to a boil. Boil shortly then let cool slightly. Add peanut butter and cereal and mix well. Press into a 9 x 13 greased pan and cool in the refrigerator.

Topping:
Put all ingredients into a pan and heat until chocolate is melted and everything is blended well. Pour over bars.
Let sit in the fridge until solid. Cut into bars.
