honey water

Directions:
Mix flour, eggs and salt - like pasta dough, eggs in the center of bowl, stirring together and slowly adding the flour into the eggs. Roll dough out very thin. Cut into strips about 1/3 size of a lasagna noodle. Take two strips of dough and twist like a
braid. Fry until golden brown in very hot vegetable oil.
After all the twists are fried, clean fry pan and add 2 cups of honey with 1/2 cup water. Wait until honey foams and then dip cookies in hot honey. Place on cookie sheets or wax paper until completely cooled

Personal Notes:
Grandma Accorso always used an old fashioned pasta machine with extra flour. To roll out the dough, run through the machine a few times to get the dough really thin.
