CAKE

2 cups of flour
pinch of salt
1 cup of sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons soda
1 can of fruit cocktail


SAUCE

2 sticks of oleo
1 small can of carnation milk
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

CAKE
Combine all ingredients and mix well. b\Bake at 350 degrees in a 9X13 cake pan. Cook until slightly underdone. If it is too done, it will make cake tough.

SAUCE
Boil 2 minutes and pour over cake. Poke holes into cake so cake will absorb some sauce. Kim and I have made this at parties and everybody thinks it is DELICIOUS.

This recipe was my mother-in-law (Wanda Jones) recipe. She made this for Robert (my husband) every year for his birthday. He LOVES it. Since she has been gone, my daughter (Kim) makes it for him and I make it once in a while, but anytime you make it, everybody loves it.
